Privacy Policy

Overview
P-Dash ("P-Dash," "we," "us") is a personal productivity and habit-tracking application built by Mateo Beauvineau. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use P-Dash, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using P-Dash, you agree to the practices described here.
Beta program notice
P-Dash is currently offered as an early-access beta to a limited, invited group of users. Features, data handling, and this policy may change as the product develops. We'll do our best to notify beta users of material changes before they take effect.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: your email address, and if you sign in with Google, the name and profile picture associated with your Google account. See "Google Sign-In & YouTube data" below for more.
- Content you create: habits, goals, time-tracking sessions and notes, journal entries, mood logs, and any photos you attach within the app.
- Connected account data: if you link a YouTube channel, the channel and analytics data described in "Google & YouTube data" below.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as log-in timestamps and general app usage, used for debugging and reliability.
- Notification preferences: whether you've opted in to streak-reminder emails, and which habits (if any) you've excluded from them.
Google Sign-In & YouTube data
Signing in with Google: if you create or log into your account using "Continue with Google," we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account, used solely to create and authenticate your P-Dash account. If you sign in with Google using the same email address as an existing, verified P-Dash account, that sign-in is linked to your existing account automatically rather than creating a duplicate one. Signing in with Google is separate from connecting a YouTube channel below — most users who sign in with Google never connect a channel at all.
Connecting a YouTube channel: if you additionally choose to connect a YouTube channel, P-Dash uses Google's OAuth and the YouTube Data/Analytics APIs to display channel metrics (such as views, subscriber counts, and watch time) inside your own dashboard. We do not access your video content itself, and we do not post, upload, or modify anything on your YouTube channel on your behalf.
Limited Use disclosure: P-Dash's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you've enabled — sign-in, and if connected, channel analytics — never for advertising, and never sold or shared for unrelated purposes.
You can revoke P-Dash's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page, or by disconnecting the YouTube integration in P-Dash Settings. To remove a linked Google sign-in identity from your account instead, contact us at mateo.beauvineau@gmail.com.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and maintain your dashboards, habits, journal, and timers.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Display connected-channel metrics you've asked to track.
- Diagnose bugs and improve reliability during the beta.
- Communicate with you about your account or the beta program.
- Send transactional emails (like a confirmation when you delete your account, or a reply to feedback you submit) and, if you opt in, a daily email listing daily habits with a streak at risk of breaking that day. Streak-reminder emails are opt-in, off by default, and can be turned off at any time in Settings.
We do not use your personal content (journal entries, notes, photos) to train machine-learning models, and we do not sell your data.
Retention & deletion
You can delete your habits, journal entries, and other in-app content at any time from within P-Dash; deleted content is removed from our active database right away.
You can also delete your entire account yourself, at any time, from Settings → "Delete account and all data." This is instant, permanent, and irreversible: it immediately deletes your authentication record and everything tied to your account — habits, projects, logs, time entries, journal entries, metrics, and any photos you've uploaded — with no grace period and no way to undo it once confirmed. We send a best-effort confirmation email when this completes; a failed confirmation email does not undo or delay the deletion, which has already happened by that point.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — including row-level security on our database and encrypted connections — to protect your information. As with any online service, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and this is especially true during our beta phase. Please use a unique password (or Google Sign-In) and let us know at mateo.beauvineau@gmail.com if you notice anything suspicious.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access or request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data or account instantly and yourself, at any time (see "Retention & deletion" above).
- Disconnect a connected YouTube channel yourself in Settings, or ask us to remove a linked Google sign-in identity from your account.
- Opt in or out of streak-reminder emails at any time in Settings, or choose which specific habits they cover.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at mateo.beauvineau@gmail.com.
Children's privacy
P-Dash is not directed to children, and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at mateo.beauvineau@gmail.com and we'll delete it.
International users
P-Dash is currently operated from the United States of America. If you use P-Dash from outside the United States of America, your information will be processed there, which may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as P-Dash evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active users directly.
